Town Hall Meetings

The Village of Sleepy Hollow has instituted quarterly Town Hall meetings that will take place at various locations within the Village to provide additional opportunities for residents to learn more about what's been happening in Sleepy Hollow and to engage with Village staff, the board of trustees, boards and committees, local organizations, and most importantly, your neighbors.

The inaugural Sleepy Hollow Town Hall meeting took place at 6:00pm on Thursday, January 29, 2026 at the James Galgano Senior Center at 55 Elm Street. It was a full house that evening and residents from all areas of Sleepy Hollow had the chance to meet their neighbors from other parts of the Village. Mayor Marjorie Hsu provided updates on the initial 90 Day Plan her administration and the Board of Trustees have set out to accomplish; SHPD Chief Anthony Bueti offered details on the Department's community policing programs; and both officials fielded questions from residents in attendance.

In addition, Police Officer Steven Bencosme described his role as School Resource Officer within the Public Schools of the Tarrytown and the importance of that role in building trust within the community. Officers of the Sleepy Hollow Police Benevolent Association (PBA) described their efforts supporting the members of the Police Department as well as their charitable initiatives within the community. The President and Executive Director of Phelps Hospital Northwell Health, Beata Mastalerz, outlined new initiatives as the hospital.
