Project Summary

A capital request was approved in 2021 to build a new playground unit at Sykes Park. The playground unit at Sykes Park was old and had become a hazard as some of the steps and other features were deteriorating. The village had our mechanic do some welding to keep it usable. A beautiful new playground unit from Playworld was completed in the spring of 2022 with a slide, climbing features, a mini rock-wall climber, and more. A moon rock climber was also installed near to replace an old playground piece that was outdated. The safety surfacing was patched in the areas that needed to be removed during assembly.
