Devries Park / Pocantico River
The Devries Park improvement Project is wrapping up. The project includes new trails, shoreline stabilization, invasive species control, landscaping, and a kayak launch.

Fremont Pond Restoration
The Fremont Pond Water Quality Improvement project was awarded but has been temporarily put on hold. The reason is that the School is now discussing the possibility of building a school at Peabody Field.

Ichabod’s Bulkhead
A preconstruction meeting was held with Trevcon Construction Inc. and McLaren Engineering. The contract has been signed and a “notice to proceed” letter was sent.

Kingsland Park Seawall
This is part of Westchester County’s $6 million-plus capital project. The sea wall along Kingsland PointPark and the Hudson River had been deteriorating even before the village and the county signed off on the IMA back in 2003.

Riverside Drive Riverwalk Design
A meeting was held with Creighton Manning to kick-off the project to design a Riverwalk extension on Riverside Drive. The design area will be from the current Riverwalk to the Philips Manor Train Station to the south, and Fremont Pond to the north.

Sleepy Hollow Lighthouse
This is part of Westchester County’s $3.4 million capital project. Over ten years ago, Westchester County planned on refurbishing the lighthouse, but the costs were too high at the time. But in 2021, County Executive George Latimer signed off on spending over $3 million to make the structure, built in 1883, look beautiful again.

Sleepy Hollow River Walk Park was dedicated on October 31, 2022.

Sykes Park New Playground & Resurfacing
A capital request was approved in 2021 to build a new playground unit at Sykes Park.
