Cultural Festival
Our annual Sleepy Hollow Culture Festival is held in September in Kingsland Point Park featuring music, food, drinks, kid’s entertainment (bouncing castle, clown, magician) and more!

Haunted Hayride
Each year, the staff of the Village of Sleepy Hollow organize a Haunted Hay Ride through the hills near the Sleepy Hollow Cemetery. Enthusiastic residents volunteer each year to send chills down the spines of the families that climb into the hay-strewn wagon.

The Legend Cirque
In 2022, the Village received a Market New York grant to put on a Washington Irving themed cirque show entitled “The Legend”.

Sleepy Hollow International Film Festival
The Sleepy Hollow International Film Festival returns to historic Sleepy Hollow and its debut year venue, the legendary Tarrytown Music Hall, as well as the Warner Library!

Sleepy Hollow Music Festival
With support from a grant from Market NY the first annual Sleepy Hollow Music Festival will be held in the summer of 2024. This event will focus on local musicians and food vendors.

Westchester Roots - Ecuadorian Festival
Westchester Roots Ecuadorian Festival is produced through a partnership between ArtsWestchester, the City of White Plains, the City of Mount Vernon and Peekskill, the Village of Sleepy Hollow, and the Bethany Arts Community.

Wishing Wall
In 2020, the community came together to transform a retaining wall that was the last remnant of the GE plant into a mural. Originally conceived of as a temporary beautification project, the mural has become a popular feature of the waterfront landscape and will remain until construction of Sleepy Hollow Common commences.
