BID OPENING FOR SYKES PARK

Sealed bids for the "Village of Sleepy Hollow", Sleepy Hollow, New York, for the:
“FOUNDATION OF THE COMFORT STATION AT JOHN H. SYKES MEMORIAL PARK”

Bids will be received by the Village Clerk’s Office, 28 Beekman Avenue, Sleepy Hollow, NewYork on
Monday, October 5, 2015 no later than 11:00 a.m. local time. At that time, the bids will be opened and read aloud for the furnishing and/or installing of the following:

Excavation and installation of mini piles, cast-in-place reinforced concrete pile caps, grade beams, and frame slab, and associated work; backfill and restore the site all in accordance with the Village of Sleepy Hollow requirements. No bids will be received or considered after the time stated above.

Plans, specifications and bid documents may be obtained at the Office of the Village Clerk, 28 Beekman Avenue, Sleepy Hollow, New York on Friday, September 25, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. local time, upon payment of a cash fee, certified check or money order of $30.00 for each set (non refundable).

Please note that all bids are to be submitted in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder and clearly marked, “BID FOR THE FOUNDATION OF THE COMFORT STATION AT JOHN H. SYKES MEMORIAL PARK IN THE VILLAGE OF SLEEPY HOLLOW.”

The Board of Trustees reserves the right to consider bids for thirty (30) days after receiving them. Before awarding the contract, the Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids and proposals, to waive technical defects, irregularities and omissions, if in its judgement, the interests of the Village will be best served.

It is intended that, whenever possible, positive recommendations will be presented to the Board of Trustees so that an awarding of the bid can be made at the next scheduled meeting. Your cooperation in adhering to the procedures outlined above and contained within the specifications would be greatly appreciated.
