Although, bitter sweet, Filomena Fallacaro and Irene Amato, are pleased to announce their "final" retirement after 60+ years of dedicated and selfless service to the Village of North Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow.  Both ladies, have lived in the Village their entire lives and have been best friends since grade school.  After so many years of working together, they have remainded each others support system and comrades!  Ms. Fallacaro, who was the Village Clerk and Registrar, retired in 1987 as Clerk, but stayed on part-time as Registrar.  Mrs. Amato, who was the Village Treasurer, retired in 1987 as well and stayed on part-time as Deputy Registrar.

Mayor Wray, commemorated both ladies, along with the Board of Trustees, at last week's meeting.

The Village of North Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow was fortunate to have these two devoted women all these years...and they are, without a doubt, irreplaceable!

We wish them both all the best in their future endeavors!
