Anthony Giaccio is the Village Administrator for Sleepy Hollow. Appointed by and serving under the direction of the Mayor and Board of Trustees, the Administrator is the chief administrative officer of the Village. He is responsible for planning, organizing, staffing, coordinating, budgeting, and evaluating all local government activities. All department heads report to the Village Administrator. Under the general direction of the Mayor and Board of Trustees, the Administrator oversees improvement and beautification projects, such as water system upgrades, expansion and renovation of Village parks, tree planting, and historic lighting and signage. A grant writing program, established in 2000, has yielded in excess of $20 million dollars* to help facilitate and fund the improvement projects. The Administrator also has a major role in the planning for the redevelopment of the Sleepy Hollow waterfront. *as of 7/2007
